Concert Program 20001/20002

1. Modest P. Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition

A discussion concert preceded by an introduction (ca. 30 minutes) to this famous and loved monumental masterpiece.
Viktor Hartmann's original paintings and drawings, which served as the composer's sources of inspiration, are available for screen projection.

2. Schuhmann/Mussorgsky:

A program with works by Robert Schumann (Carnaval op. 9) and Modest P. Moussorgsky (Pictures at an Exhibition).

In these two cycles Schumann and Moussorgsky present autobiographical self-portraits in a series of pictorial miniatures.

This program can be presented as a piano recital or a lecture concert.
